Images are processed locally

The tools on imgs.help read and process the images you select in your browser. Image files and generated results are not uploaded to an image-processing server. We do not store your images.

You control your files

Files are opened only when you choose, drop, or paste them. Results stay in browser memory until you clear the workspace or leave the page. Download a result if you want to keep it. Your original file is not changed.

Website requests

Your browser still requests the website's pages and code. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information, such as IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the service. These requests do not include the images you select. Cloudflare hosts this website.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics on imgs.help to understand website usage, such as page visits, traffic sources, browser or device information, and tool usage. Tool events include the tool name, successful image selections, whether an image is yours or a provided example, processing outcomes, image counts, processing time, and download actions. Google Analytics may use cookies to distinguish visitors and sessions. Image processing remains local: we do not send your image files, file names, image contents, or generated results to Google Analytics. Cloudflare may use security cookies to protect the website. Learn more in Google’s explanation of data use on partner sites.

Image metadata

Re-encoded outputs do not retain the source's EXIF metadata. Files returned unchanged because they already meet a compression target retain their original metadata. Review files before sharing if their metadata matters to you.
